The youngest member of the Company, the Drummer. The 1751 Warrant stated that Drummers of all Royal regiments were allowed to wear Royal livery. With trophies and drums on his cap and false, hanging sleeves in his back, the drummer wears the most eye catching of uniforms so that his officers for whom he serves, can pick him out of the crowd. |
